Since 1969, we have promoted excellent healthy management, outdoor living in roomy pastures with other horses and competitive bloodlines. Their training is the best, and age-appropriate: plenty of groundwork in the pre-riding years, started under saddle between 30-36 months.

Libra Light was used for two years as a stallion before being gelded in 2005, but he has not retained his studdy behaviors and gets along fine with both horses and people. He is excellent to work with both on the ground and under saddle--a well-mannered gentleman of a horse. Libra Light has very good conformation and a quiet disposition. He rides well at a walk, trot, and canter, knows his leads, and is quiet and responsive. Most of his training has been flatwork in an arena, but he has been taken over low jumps and out on trails. He is gentle enough for a beginner rider, and would excel at a variety of disciplines. He has been prepared for use in the Success-Centered Riding program, and shows aptitude as a lesson horse. Libby was born friendly and gets along well with horses and people. She is an extremely feminine and beautiful mare with dainty features, but still stout and sturdy enough to carry a rider comfortably. Libby is sweet natured both on the ground and under saddle. She is soft-mouthed (usually ridden in a bitless bridle), responsive, and gentle enough for a timid adult or child rider. Her training is coming along marvelously, and she goes nicely at a walk, trot, and canter (she also knows her leads).
